European Bucketlist

(updated Jan 2017) I never expected to be a world traveler. If asked growing up if I would like to travel of course I said yes. But at the time, I didn't know what that would mean. I didn't think i would live in Japan and experience such a traditional and unique culture. I didn't think I could love a country more than the country I was from. And I never expected to go to the lands of my ancestors, my Italian heritage and be hours from the lands that my family came from. I never expected to live this kind of life.

But so far I have lived in some wonderful places and in June, I join another to the ranks: Naples. 

I couldn't be more excited about going to Europe next. There is sooo much to do, so much to see! I want to get as excited for Europe as I should be! Not worrying about the PCS, the traveling, the work before and until then! I want to get ready for the next trip of a lifetime! 

My Italian Bucket list 

1) Take a gondola ride in Venice

2) Kiss my husband under the moonlight in the Cinque Terre
3) Watching the sunset off the Amalfi coast
4) a night at the top of the Pavone castle
5) Sail into a bay in Sardinia 
6) Breakfast on the terrace at the Amalfi grand hotel (We did lunch! works for me)
7) Drive an open-top Ferrari
8) ride a scooter

9) Attend an opera under the stars at the Roman arena in Verona
10) Make lasting Italian friends
11) Find my family (or the land that once was my fatherland)
12) Get invited to lunch with a farming family
13) Live one day and/or evening in a piazza
14)Have breakfast at the bar
15) People watch in Italy
16) Join in at the Venice Carnival
